ABOUT THE LIDO HOUSE

Nestled about four miles south of the Surf City bridge and a few miles before Topsail Beach, North Carolina, this second row beach home has been our hearts desire for the last ten years.  Built in 1970, we have poured ourselves into renovating it into the charming beach bungalow we knew it could be and one we would love to rent.    

We chose the name The Lido House to marry our northern childhoods to our southern adulthoods.  Growing up in New Jersey and Northern Virginia, the "beach" as we call it here in North Carolina, was more often referred to as the "shore."  Lido translates to both beach and shore in Italian, making it the perfect name. So we are good whether you want to call it "the shore house" or "the beach house."  So long as you call.
