• BEACH RENTALS: Surf boards, bikes, paddle boards and kayaks, 50 South Surf Shop will deliver your rental straight to the house! 

• SURF LESSONS:  Book with Surf City Surf School for private or group surfing lessons.

• ADVENTURES:  Learn all about the sea turtles at the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehab Center.  Or head to Ecological Marine Adventures for a hands-on learning experience, complete with touch tank!    

• FISHING: Head to Surf City Pier to fish, or just enjoy the walk down the pier and the views.

• COFFEE & WINE:  We love The Daily Grind for a morning coffee or to unwind with a glass of wine.  Live music sometimes, so check out their social media for details.  

• LOCAL BREWERIES:  We recommend The Salty Turtle or SCBC to try out all the local craft options.

• TREATS:  The Beach Bunny is our most favorite ice cream place ever.  We also love Bahama Mama Shaved Ice.  Sugar Island is a great little bakery and bookshop for the adult treat-seeker.

• FOOD:  Our favorite places include: The Beach Shop Bar & Grill, Daddy Mac's, Santorini, Shaka Taco & Breezeway.  We also love Daybreak Donuts for breakfast or Low Tide for brunch.  A must-do for the seafood love is Topsail Steamer, a delicious experience of fresh seafood.  You pick your pot, pick it up, and then steam it at home.  

• SHOPPING:  Check out The Gift Basket, Herrings, Mia's Marketplace, Topsail Island Trading Co. or Spinnaker's Surf Shop.

• FOR THE KIDS:  The Patio Playground or Shipwreck Point is the place to be.

• GOLF CART RENTAL:  Topsail Island is a golf cart friendly island, meaning you can drive them on the roads.  You can rent one here:  Elite Gold Cart Rentals.

•   LATE NIGHT FUN:  The Trailer Bar, a hole-in-the-wall joint with live music most weekends.
